In this note, we observe that the E-string 6d SCFT can be decorated with extra matter sectors. This decoration exploits an opening allowed by the current classification, implementing terminal singularities nested on the curve of the base of the elliptic fibration that supplies the tensor branch. Additionally, via dimensional reduction on a circle, we identify versions of the 5d $E_n$ theories decorated by extra matter sectors.
