We account for the orbifold projection by introducing topological defect lines to the planar supergraphs of $\\mathcal N=4$ SYM. These twist lines are sourced by twisted sector operators, transparent to vector multiplets but generate orbifold phases when crossed by bifundamental hypermultiplet fields. This formalism establishes a refinement of the orbifold inheritance principle at supergraph level.
