In temporal gauge, the 3-type electric field rotates within a single SU(2) subgroup at one frequency, whereas the 8-type electric field necessarily rotates within three SU(2) subgroups with at least two different frequencies. We construct the homogeneous 8-type electric field with three scalar fields and show that two scalar fields are sufficient only on a one-parameter family of gauge field backgrounds.
