We derive the lightcone singularities that arise in the S matrix whenever the two points on $\\mathcal{I}$ are connected by a bulk null geodesic. This includes geodesics orbiting near the photon sphere for a long time, whose kinematics determine the associated lightcone singularities. By turning on a finite string length $\\ell_s$, worldsheet corrections are shown to shift the lightcone singularities into the complex time plane, resolving the singularities at real times.
