This construction hinges on the isomorphism between the (asymptotic) isometries of AFS and the conformal Carroll algebra. Carroll symmetries also naturally arise on the lightfront, as co-dimension one subalgebras in the Poincare algebra written in lightcone coordinates. In this paper, building on the isomorphism between four dimensional (4d) Poincare and 3d conformal Carroll algebras, we make a connection between physics on the lightfront and Carrollian CFTs.
