A Rankin-Selberg Integral for $SU_{2,2}$

We construct a Rankin-Selberg integral for the non-split quasi-split unitary group $SU_{2,2}$ and prove that it is Eulerian. We then compute the local integral at inert places where all data are unramified, and show that it represents the local adjoint $L$-function of $SU_{2,2}$.
